Caesar is the highest rank in the Terran Overlord Government. Dictator Ivanolo Buntari chose to adopt the title for the traditional power it conveyed. As the Caesars of old, it is not an elected or inherited position, but is that of a self-created leader.
Caesars of the Terran Republic / Terran Overlord Government[]
- Alexander Trajan: Refused the title in favor of that of First Consul.
- Ivanolo Buntari (6680-6691): First Caesar.
- Augustus Tourlaville (????-6779): Died in office, named teenage son as heir. Had the largest number of Overlords in service (59).
- Tourlaville's son (6779-????): Caesar protege under First Consul Warren Mischenko.
- Warren Mischenko (????-6791): Rose to power when the young Tourlaville resigned due to a rare genetic disorder. Retained the title of First Consul, but was Caesar in all but name. Considered the most "liberal" TOG Caesar. Died of apparent heart attack. Had the least amount of Overlords in service (31).
- Nicholas Julianus (6792-Present): Current Caesar.
